Charles August Lindbergh was the father of the famous transatlantic pilot. He was one of many members of Congress who recognized the Federal Reserve System as a nothing but federal aid for the multimillionaires and their banking partners. Lindbergh was one of few, however, having the courage to stand up in Congress and speak boldly against passage of the Federal Reserve Act and predict the dire result of turning the nation's purse over to a private banking cabal (which the act did and does).
Today's national debt and massive deficits prove Rep. Lindbergh's predictions to be unhappily correct. Although this book exonerates a courageous member of Congress who spoke up a century ago, it should be required reading for anyone seeking public office today and who takes an oath to uphold the Constitution. This review is written to give Lindbergh his richly deserved FIVE STARS, but also in the hope that members of Congress -- and those who aspire to serve -- will read the book and realize that the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 must be soundly repealed. Since such a sweeping measure will surely incur the wrath of the national media, members of Congress who are willing to work for repeal will need plenty of encouragement and support from the voters in his or her congressional district.
