Blitzkrieg was born in Britain, but rejected by the British Military Industrial Complex. This book is one of the most influential and unknown books in all of military history. Once required reading at the US Military Academy, this book was written after Liddell Hart was an eye-witness to the follies of WWI that lead to the needless death of millions. Liddell Hart wrote this book for the utility of the British High Command, but it was rejected. The High Commands that were very interested however were the German and Japanese, who adopted the doctrine and applied it with great success against the British to the sorrow and dismay of Liddell Hart.
